Tanner's
We (Bonnie and Van) left at the very last minute - Sunday at Noon - driving all night to Winter Park, FL. We took Hwy 90 and I found out that there are 2 tunnels in Mobile, finally arriving at 3am. Laure, Phil and Chuck are putting us up until we can start to make decisions about the future. We are thankful to be alive and to hear from all of our dear friends that everyone is now safe. Like everyone else, the house and all of its contents are all gone, but we keep telling ourselves that they are all just things and we have our memories and friends. Right now we are thinking of relocating to Central Florida to be near the kids and grandchildren (Philip, Erik, Peyton and Austin), but the Bay will always be a part of all of our lives.
We would like to hear from any and all. This seems like a terrible dream and we will all wake up and find that our wonderful town is still there. I bought some paints today and will try to begin painting again. Phil set up Van with a laptop so he is now able to communicate with the world and keep in touch with everyone.
