Ok it is official. I got the call this morning. I will be working out of the Houston Arena for the next 6 months starting Sept 12th. I bet my new office has some great views. Shell has had significant damage to all their platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and so it is our job to get them back on line and pumping gas. Very rarely do you get to see your every day job actually making a difference! I will be staying with my aunt and uncle in west houston. As I don't want to overburden them with having an extra body in the house, I will eventually be looking for a new apartment. If anyone knows of anything or some one looking for a roommate, please let me know.
