Burgee Safe...not quite sound

Last week a guy was camping out for a couple of days at the Club...some of you may have seen him. He had a trailer with a small boat. Before he left he gave me the Large Burgee and Commadore's pennant. Susan and I will have the Burgee framed (it's very blown out) and return it once the club has somewhere to hang it. I'll try to mail the Commadore's pennant to Mike next week.

Our BSL house had 8 feet of water, 1 foot of mud, and major roof damage. The Jourdan River Shores house had 7 feet of water, lots of fish and mud. The floor and walls are, hopefully, being removed now.

We are fortunate that both are fixable. We are more fortunate that the BWYC family is safe.

I'm back in Italy, but Susan and I will be returning often to try to get work done. Chris skipped a little Ole Miss Law School to help me clean up (rip walls out of) the BSL house. He lives on "The Links" golf course so if you are in Oxford give him a call.
