Schreck Regatta
Riess Livaudais, Fred Eagan, Will Hadden and Brieu Bourgeois(sp?) sailed the Schreck Regatta Pensacola this past weekend and finished 6th. Will was in second at the first mark with Fred and Brieu crewing, but got in to some trouble with Gulfport late in the race and fell back to 7th. Good sailing Will - hey, Lipton Regatta's can be won with a 7th!!
Fred also had it up as high as 2nd, but some missed shifts on both downwind legs dropped him back to 6th. Riess steered the last race and caught a quick shift shortly after the start and opened up a good lead. They led at every mark but, on the last beat, had to split coverage and lost Buccanneer just before the finish.
This was the last Capdevielle regatta of the year. BWYC won the 16 race series and participated in every event.
Congratulations and thanks to Marcus for his work as Capdevielle Chairman.

Wadewitz Regatta
We had a Capdevielle team (David, Bishop, Terza), Clinton on the Sunfish course, and Judy Reeves as Race Committee.
The breeze filled in late on Saturday so only three races completed on both courses and the breeze never filled in on Sunday.
The Capdevielle Team made an interesting third race (ruffling a few feathers), but the results were the same. Bucanneer and Bay finished First and Second in all races and overall, respectively.
On the Sunfish, Ellis Ollinger, Kevin Northup and Clinton were tied going into last race. The last race had Ellis first with Clinton passing Kevin on the last leg.
